Wenger is determined to secure a deal for the Real Madrid striker-Benzema

According to the Telegraph, Arsenal are closing on the transfer of Benzema and would make the striker their top earner.

Arsenal are reportedly set to launch a £40m bid for the 27 year old striker.
Benzema would be the highest paid at the club,his pay surpassing that of Mesut Ozil,Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott.
