Chelsea prepared to act over two major transfers- Jose Mourinho

Blues winger Salah spent the second
half of last season on loan to
Fiorentina as part of the £26.8million
transfer of Juan Cuadrado.
The Egypt international flourished in
Serie A, fuelling hopes he would make
his move to Florence permanent.
But the 21-year-old rejected the move
and is currently in limbo as Chelsea
consider what to do with their winger.
“I see his future elsewhere,”
Mourinho told Sky Sports .
“Either on loan or sold with an offer
we are happy to accept.
"We have five wingers and it is better
not to have Salah back.”
Salah arrived at Stamford Bridge in an
£11m deal from Basel in 2013 but
failed to cement his place in
Mourinho's first XI.
Inter are also reportedly in for the
player, while Chelsea themselves are
seeking midfield and defensive
additions.
One man reportedly on their radar is
Barcelona ace Pedro, who is valued at
around £22m.
But Chelsea will only make a formal
offer for the 27-year-old if someone
else is sold first - the boss insisted.
“I have five wingers , if I lose one
maybe I am interested in another but
at this moment I have balance and
quality and numbers," he said.
“It’s a big challenge for us to go
through the season with basically the
same team and squad from last
season.”
